Slow Down

It has been a strange week so far. I started coming down with a cold on Saturday evening. Didn't think much about it until I went with my daughter to the Twins' game on Sunday where I just felt like I was going downhill. Didn't feel real bad on Monday morning so I went to work. Well, I made it- barely.

So Tuesday morning I called in saying I wasn't feeling well but with some more sleep I would probably be in after lunch. They called me back and said- no, stay home. Get well.

So I did. I slept late. Got up and watched SportsCenter then fell asleep again. Woke up and just puttered around. Staying home when one is sick is an odd feeling. I have had very few days like that in my life. I seldom get that ill. This time is was just the under the weather feeling compounded by not getting much sleep.

This also explains the slight downturn in posting this week. And no, I am not looking for pity- but if you have any left over...
