# 4 # 12 is Back

You knew I would have to say something about this first week of the NFL.

Well, in the first game Aaron Rodgers (# 12) sure looked good. Can he do it for 16 more games (and then the playoffs)? The rest of the team looked good, but not yet as good as they can be- too many penalties for one. But then again, both teams were sloppy in that regard since it was the first game of the season.

It seemed strange not seeing Brett on the field, just as it seems even stranger to see that all too familiar face in another uniform. But I have a hunch that if tonight was any bit of what the future can bring, we might get used to the new face.

The bigger story (for the rest of the league) may well be that Patriots' Superstar Tom Brady is gone for the season. All of a sudden, there may be a chance for the Jets and Brett after all. But then again, the Patriots better be more than Tom Brady just as the Packers have been more than Brett.

In any case the season has begun. And we are ready for some football.
