The Progressing Season

It's nearly the end of July and the veggie plants on the back patio are coming along quite nicely.  Those pretty little flowers have been pollinated and the fruit is growing.

Beefsteak tomatoes, coming soon.

A couple peppers are growing. The plant looks a little worse for the wear 

of heavy rain and wind but there are peppers! Good sweet peppers-- hmmmm.

Then there are the cherry tomatoes. 

Good cherry tomatoes are a fruit delicacy that can rival the best candy on the market.

Waiting is tough.

Footnote: As I look at these I realize how green they look. Can hardly wait for the red to show.
