Are They Betting on a Winner?

 
Went into a bookstore the other day that is not one of the normal big box bookstores I inhabit since we have been out of town. They handed me a receipt and a coupon that gave me the chance to win $5 off a purchase next week, depending on tonight's Academy Awards.

It didn't take me more than a few seconds to see the catch.

By the way, I purchased a magazine later in the evening and got the same "coupon" on which I circled the other two most likely to win, but I am not confident that I am going to get my $5 coupon.
