Love the Headline

Posted last week on The Huffington Post's weird news

Gateway To Hell: Israeli Scientists Explore Twins Cave For Ancient Door To Underworld
The headline makes it sound so real as if scientists were really, truly looking for such a portal to the Underworld. Does such a place as hell exist? Is there a place where the entry can be found? The story brings us back up to the earth's surface:
It's an ancient legend: Located in scattered areas of Earth are openings, doorways, gates, if you will, to some unseen underworld, also variously referred to as hell, Hades and Dante's Inferno.

Researchers exploring the famous Twins Cave outside of Jerusalem have uncovered evidence of some pagan rituals, dating back to the Roman Empire, that suggest people may have believed the cave was a portal to this underworld.
Now we are on a better track. Of course it is legend. We are talking about archaeology and anthropology. But the author of the article has to take one more take at the sensational and paranormal:
Numerous books, movies and television shows have depicted the dark, shadowy underworld. But is there any truth to the idea that an actual entrance to such a place may someday be discovered?
Thankfully the scientists take it to a better place.

But you know what? The crazy headline did get me to read the article and perhaps the Huffington Post made a couple pennies because I did. I wonder though. The article was posted on 4/20.
