I didn't know the thing did other than Hawaiian music. But thanks to BoingBoing and NPR I found out that even a ukulele can do more than gently weep. Here's Jake Shimabukuro from a 2006 YouTube performance.

I saw an interview with George Harrison's son who said that his Dad was so fond of the ukulele that he often travelled with two of them, hoping he'd meet someone who could play along with him. Maybe he knew Jake Shimabukuro!
