I Hope It's Not an Omen

Winter came rushing into southern Minnesota this morning.

Clouds moved in after a magnificent morning of sun.

The wind is howling so much that it makes whitecaps on the lake outside my window.

And it is snowing.

Snowing.

And the temperature is dropping. (Two degrees already as I have been writing this.)

And did I mention that it is snowing?

Not so much that it will stick but it was blowing across the road out in the open country.

And today is only October 26.

I hope it is not a foreshadowing of a winter to come.
