Irony or Just Plain Coincidence

A couple weeks ago a conservative preacher called for a drenching Biblical-style rainstorm n Denver last Thursday to keep the country from hearing Obama's acceptance speech. Well, didn't happen of course. Which probably doesn't say anything about God's attitude toward Sen. Obama.

But if I accept that, I would also have to scratch my head at the irony that some storm called Gustav could get in the way of a speech by George W. at the Republican Convention on Monday night.

I guess irony probably isn't God's thing either, but it is an interesting coincidence.
