Three Cheers for Signs of Spring

Pussy willow is a name given to many of the smaller species of the genus Salix (willows and sallows) when their furry catkins are young in early spring.

Hooray! At last the victory signs of spring are beginning to take over!

Both pictures taken this very day, 4/11/14 in Rochester, MN.
