A Well-Deserved Honor
This year's Pulitzer Prize in fiction (there was none last year) goes to the book I mentioned here a week or so ago, The Orphan Master's Son. It is a remarkable accomplishment and lives up to this honor. The irony of it is that it is a book about North Korea's way of making reality out of thin air, which is something we have seen happening in recent weeks.
Read the book- but be warned, it will be uncomfortable and impossible to put down. It is the English language used at its finest.
