Back to the News- or at least the fun side of it- from NBC News: Several headlines caught me:

Maryland woman ticketed for going 63 — in a 65 zone

and

Mom allegedly let toddler do bong hit

I don't think it was the same person.

Then, with Lent and all, a religious headline:

1,200-year-old Egyptian text describes a shape-shifting Jesus

Obviously a non-standard revised version.

But the one that started some thoughts and memories going was:

'Get me out': Golfer plunges into Illinois sinkhole

Which sent me back to the 60s and a classic (i.e. old) Smothers Brothers routine about falling into a vat of chocolate. I couldn't find a video of them performing it live, but this one from one of their records will do. It's so much easier to yell "Get me out!" but it doesn't make for a fun song.
