Hero(es) and Villain(s)

Heroes and villains
Just see what you've done

Heroes and villains
Just see what you've done
That's what came to mind with the news headlines about Egyptian President Morsi's troubles at home right after helping broker the cease fire in Gaza. He does such a good job, then grabs power back in Egypt where they start referring to him as "pharaoh." He, the product of the popular uprising known as the "Arab Spring" and of the first free election in decades, now seeks to hold power.
My children were raised
You know they suddenly rise
They started slow long ago
Head to toe healthy wealthy and wise
Imagine the dilemma the united States now has. We partnered, so to speak, with Morsi, in Gaza. He needs our support, although he might just as soon find a way to get by without it. We want to make sure things stay quiet in the Middle East and the Arab world. Morsi is becoming a villain and a hero. We are, as is often the case, damned if we do and damned if we don't.
Stand or fall I know there
Shall be peace in the valley
And it's all an affair
Of my life with the heroes and villains
I have no fine or deep or even superficial thoughts to add to this. Just an apology to Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy for my borrowing one of their sets of lines (from: Chickens Come Home (1931).
United States: " Well..."
Middle East Politics: "Here's another nice mess I got you into."
And with thanks to Brian Wilson, Van Dyke Parks and the Beach Boys:
Heroes and villains
Just see what you've done

Heroes and villains
Just see what you've done

I think you've mislabeled the lines between the U.S. and Middle East.
