What An Interesting Mix

Over at Visual News they posted a visual of the Top 10 most read books of the past 50 years based on total printed and sold.

Considering the world populations, the #1 and #2 books come as no real surprise since 1962. Neither does Harry Potter or The Lord of the Rings (or Twilight Saga) since they are multiple book sets.

But the Alchemist (a very good book) or the Da Vinci Code (really????)?

Think and Grow Rich topped Diary of Anne Frank?

Amazing.

Interesting indeed. And worst graphic ever - makes it look like LOTR sold nearly as many as HP, but in fact about 1/4 as many...
