I'm Glad I'm Not a Weather Forecaster

I went to bed last night with a minor snow happening today and tonight. I get up this morning to a Winter Storm Warning. Quite a shift. From 1-2 now 6-10 inches of snow. I go to the forecast discussion page for the local National Weather Service Office and see this lead:

.SHORT TERM...THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT
FINGERNAILS ALL BUT CHEWED OFF...HAIR PULLED OUT...AND STILL A
GREAT DEAL OF UNCERTAINTY ON FORECASTING THIS WINTER STORM

Actually, from my amateur experience this kind of "out of nowhere" storm system with such rapid change and apparent development usually happens.

Now, by saying that and talking about it here, I have done my small part in making sure that it doesn't happen.
