Down to Two - At Last
It's the Phillies and the Rays.
Finally
Finally
Wow. What an ALCS it was. Pitchers' duels, major come from behind wins. And lots of home runs. Now it is time for the World Series. It could be a good one- or someone may just walk away with it. The Rays have been nothing short of remarkable. From last place to first. Then almost blowing it and now.... Amazing.
The Phillies have only one championship in 126 years. That was 1980 and Jimmy Carter was president. (I was there in the top row of Veteran's Stadium for the first game that year!)
And well, the Rays have never been there. What a possibility.
But in the meantime we get a two-day rest until the Series starts Wednesday.
Oh no! There is an election going on and I might even have to pay attention to it.
