Sad, but Often True

In line with yesterday's post of the Craig Ferguson rant, this from American columnist and author Bill Vaughan:

"A citizen of America will cross the ocean to fight for democracy, but won't cross the street to vote in a national election."

This is so true in so many places. May it not be this year.
