Heron Take-Off

Here is what may be the luckiest picture I took along the Pine Creek Rail Trail last week. I was pedaling along and saw the Great Blue Heron across the creek. I stopped and got my camera out just as he started to fly. Luck is always the #1 criteria for good pictures.
