Here's the Picture I Wanted
Here is what I wanted to get a picture of at the Tampa airport on Monday when I discovered that my camera was heading (even further) south. I did manage to get this one before it stopped behaving at all.
This is a chain of a "Mexican-type" restaurant/bar in airports. I noticed the same stars hanging at the one at Minneapolis-St. Paul. For those who may not know, I have always been told that these are Moravian Stars. Even Target called them that a few years ago when they sold them at Christmas. The history, as I have been told, was that these were a math project in the school in Herrnhut, Germany in the 1800s.
How then did the same star end up in such varied locales as Mexico (where I saw them in stores) and Andalusia Spain where I saw one- and my daughter bought one for us as a present when she was over there? There is no apparent difference in the style of the stars. Here's a picture I took of one.
If anyone can assist in figuring this out, let me know. I will do more research on it.

Could it be that in a moment of surreal creationism these stars invented Moravians and not the other way round? :)
Actually, as I remember it, the ones at Target that were called "Moravian Stars" were actually a little different design (different number and size ratio of points). I think we got one for our wedding.
Or I could be wrong.
I'd like to hear if you find out anything about this, though.
