My Beloved- I Am Well-Pleased

Jesus Baptism
The Son of God submitting
Submitting to John
Submitting to the water
Submitting to God.

A moment of uncertainty and fear-
Let's change places, I am no one you
Are Everyone.

But no. No! It cannot be.
He must do this.

Who can refuse submission if even He can't?

Who is better than He is? Who has more
Humility?

There's the word for The Word. Ultimately,
In spite of all power, and dominion, and love
Humility reigns as the water rains over Him.

But then to be all Love would be to be
Humble. All Love and all Power together can and will
Do more than either one without the other.

And only One has had both in fullness-

The Beloved.

And God is pleased.
