Just In Case

If you still have some shopping for toys for kids to do this weekend, you could do worse than to look at the list of Top 10 Classic Toys over at List Universe. The list rightly includes such stalwarts as Lincoln Logs (1916-17), Slinky (1943) and Legos, which I was surprised to learn were "invented" in 1934. There are videos from YouTube connected to each toy.

The #1 "classic" toy? I'll let you find out. I have a hunch it will depend on your definition of "classic" but I think I have to agree.

Take a moment and relive what were surely some of your favorite toys. Read the comments which add some other special memories.
