I Don't Even Know What To Think!
Found this yesterday from the New York Times as published in the International Herald Tribune :

While most Americans thought the United States was trying to curb smoking, and the rapacious habits of the tobacco companies, it turns out the industry has been sneakily making cigarettes more addictive....

It is stunning to discover how easily the industry was able to increase public consumption of nicotine without anyone knowing about it until Massachusetts blew the whistle.
I wonder if anyone in the tobacco industry has any sense of morality? To increase the addictive agent in tobacco to a point where one becomes addicted more quickly can have only one purpose in mind- to get people addicted more quickly. No, let me rephrase that. It's purpose is to keep people buying the product since they are addicted to.

Is this a criminal act?
