See What I Mean?
I don't usually refer to previous posts (because at my age I don't remember what I wrote in most cases) but this time it was close enough to catch my attention. On Wednesday, a mere few days ago I posted this in an article on addictions:

It is not all that long ago that if you would have said that by the beginning of the 21st Century NON-smoking would have become the rule in most of the country you would have been labelled crazy.
Well, on Friday, down the Yahoo! News feed comes the following:
Marriott smoking ban sign of the times
Yes, the Marriott chain is designating ALL rooms as non-smoking.
"We can count on one hand the people who request smoking rooms," said Mary Peters, who owns Friendly Travel American Express in Alexandria, Va.
I wouldn't have believed it even ten years ago. When people make a change like this one, it is almost okay to believe that anything is possible.
