I'm Inspired
The American Film Institute and CBS presented their Top 100 Inspirational Movies of all time. Here's the Top 10...

1..IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE (1946)
2..TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD (1962)
3..SCHINDLER'S LIST (1993)
4..ROCKY (1976)
5..MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON (1939)
6..E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL (1982)
7..THE GRAPES OF WRATH (1940)
8..BREAKING AWAY (1979)
9..MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET (1947)
10.SAVING PRIVATE RYAN (1998)
I really can't argue with the Top 10. I like To Kill a Mockingbird better than It's A Wonderful Life, but either one is a very worthy #1.

With the rest, I'm really not sure that Breaking Away is a Top 10 film, but I do know that Chariots of Fire shouldn't be at the bottom at # 100. It was interesting to see Harold and Maude made the Top 100 at 89. I wonder if I can find it and rent it. It was a fun, quirky movie. And 2001: A Space Odyssey at #47? I don't remember it being that inspirational. A great movie? No doubt one of the Top 100, but I'm not convinced about this one.

Anyway. A good list.
