WoW! That's Rain!
We don't need a hurricane around these parts about right now. It started raining just a little after six this evening and it has been doing it with a vengeance ever since. (It's about 9:20 pm.) We have had 2 - 3 inches so far. More is coming. Highways were flooded in underpasses. Waist deep water was reported. Cars were stranded. This isn't supposed to happen on October 4. Yet it is. Crazy weather!

As I was driving home about 45 minutes ago, it was a little frustrating until I realized the traffic jam was caused by the flooding. All of a sudden, seeing cars stuck in intersections, frustration was surpassed by concern. Fortunately, everyone else felt the same way.

Just had to talk about it now that I am safely at home.
