Too Serious Too Often
This blog has been much too serious recently so, in a lame effort to remedy that, at least for today, here was the joke of the day today on the local Post-Bulletin website. I liked it.
A film crew was on location deep in the desert. One day an old man went up to the director and said, "Tomorrow rain."
The next day it rained.
A week later, the old man went up to the director and said. "Tomorrow storm."
The next day there was a hailstorm.
"This man is incredible," the director said. He told his secretary to hire the old man as a weather forecaster. However, after several successful predictions, the old man didn't show up for two weeks.
Finally, the director sent for the old man. "I have to shoot a big scene tomorrow," said the director, "and I'm depending on you. What will the weather be like?"
The old man shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know," he said. "The radio is broken."
