Sit Back and Quote
I guess it's a little bit of cheating, but when I run out of time or things to say I plan a quotes post. This is as good a day as I can think of to do that. So here are some from pmPilgrim's not so famous quotations repository..
Augusten Burroughs, writer and wit, has a good way to remain humble:
"I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions."More humility, this time from one who truly lived it,Mahatma Gandhi, reminding us that even the insignificant is important.
"Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it."Henry David Thoreau, has a good attitude. I wonder if he always managed to live up to it?
"Beware of all enterprises that require new clothes."Writer Charles Bukowski, like all writers, was a profound witness to human nature.
"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead."And a "No comment!" quote from Oscar Wilde
"When the gods wish to punish us, they answer our prayers."
