Back Home Again
My wife and I have just returned from a 10-day road trip to the Black Hills of western South Dakota. Hence there is no post today for this week's Gospel. (Even preachers get a week off once in a while.)

It was a great trip. We covered over 1800 miles and saw some remarkable things. We had two travel days each direction and six days located in Hill City, SD which we used as a base to travel the Black Hills. We saw some wonderful stuff, we did the touristy things (to a point) and had a great time being together.

Yes, I took lots of pictures and wrote lots of notes in my journal. Starting a week from this Friday, August 10, I hope to do a ten-day running narrative of the 10 day trip along with some pictures for each day. That way I can share with all of you what we did. It was fun!

So watch for it starting August 10. But it is good to be home. Too bad we have to clean up, do wash, and even go back to work.
