Sunny Day- Chasing the Clouds Away
Well, maybe not ALL sunny, but today is the longest "day" of the year. At 1:06 pm (CDT) summer officially arrives. Here in the north latitudes of the Twin Cities (half way between the equator and the North Pole) we will have 15 1/2 hours of sunshine today. Well, in theory anyway since we are supposed to get some showers, etc. That is one of the real joys of summer here with sunset being after 9:00 and the sky light until almost 10:00. And it's warm, too.
Actually it has felt more like July or August. We have had a lot of 90s already with more to come.
