Land of Extremes
Well, we have come to the end of March with a lot of rain up our way here. From cold and two BIG snowstorms at the beginning of the month to rain, rain, and rain. But what it always interesting to me (and after all, this is my blog) is the extremes that temperatures can go in this part of the world.

  • In January the warmest was 41 degrees F. and a lowest of -10 for a spread of 51 degrees.
  • In February the warmest was 49 and lowest was -16 for a spread of 64 degrees.
  • In March the warmest hottest was 81 and the lowest was 2 for a spread of 79 degrees.
There. Wasn't that interesting? Wonder what April has in store?

Intelligence
Postmodern Daughter sent me an intelligence test the other day. It is challenging. It has a phrase like
24 H in a D
and you have to work out what the letters mean. That one, the example, is of course
24 Hours in a Day.
They say if you get 19+ you are a genius. I won't brag, but will drop a hint or two that so far I have gone above 19. I guess intelligence isn't all its cracked up to be after all. Anyway, go see for yourself. Here's the LINK.

Holy Week Starts Tomorrow
Just thought I would cue you in to what I'm doing on the blog for Holy Week 2007. Starting tomorrow I will be picking some insight or other from the book, The Last Week by Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan for each day of the week. I hope to find some new or different ideas for my own spiritual growth for this special week. It starts tomorrow with Palm Sunday.
