Waiting for the Snow
While I am a strong believer in the maxim:

It's never the storm they predict that gets you

I am patiently waiting for a BIG storm heading this way. Winter Storm Warnings are up. By the time it all ends Sunday night they say we could have as much as 18 inches in at least part of the Twin Cities metro area.

I hope my neighbor with his snowplow hasn't gone away for the weekend.

Will keep you posted- as if you really care. :>)

In the meantime, I hope to get to see the last of my Academy Award nominated movies this afternoon- Letters from Iwo Jima. My daughter saw it last night and said it was typical Eastwood- a slowly developed story, great acting and directing, and a lot of violence. (After all, it is a war movie.) Will have my complete wrap-up of the nominated movies tomorrow, just in time for the big night on Sunday.
