Time For Some Quotes
My collection of quotes to share keeps getting longer. So, here's another attempt to shorten the list.

First, an oldie but goodie from the TV series, "Taxi":

"The great thing about television is that if something important happens anywhere in the world, day or night, you can always change the channel."
So we quickly do so to the funniest newspaper columnist around, Dave Barry who knows whereof he speaks. Just read any of his wonderful columns.
"You can only be young once. But you can always be immature."
Perhaps Dave Barry and Randall Jarrell should get together since they seem to be in disagreement, when in truth may be both saying the same things:
"One of the most obvious facts about grownups to a child is that they have forgotten what it is like to be a child."
Maybe I should get a little more profound as I turn to probably the greatest Republican (or Democrat, for that matter) President, Abraham Lincoln. Often a look at those seemingly viceless among us would prove his wisdom:
"It has been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues."
And just to close on a much more insightful and serious thought, here's one from former British Prime Minister Harold Wilson just to think about:
"Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death."
