And Now The List
We are now ready to see the Big 5- the nominees for this year's Best Picture.

• Babel
• The Departed
• Letters From Iwo Jima
• Little Miss Sunshine
• The Queen

No BIG surprise, except the fact that Director's Guild nominee- Dreamgirls- didn't make it to this list while Letters from Iwo Jima did. Maybe they didn't want to go with a musical story three years in a row after Ray and Walk the Line. I also do want to catch some of the actors as well- Penelope Cruz in Volver, Forest Whitaker in The Last King of Scotland, and Peter O'Toole in Venus. Pan's Labyrinth and The Illusionist along with Jesus Camp and an Inconvenient Trusth are also on my to-see list.

I guess we have our work cut out for us before February 25, although I have already seen two of the must-sees- The Children of Men and, of course, Little Miss Sunshine.
