This is Sad
The following was in the (Minneapolis) Star-Trib. It makes me want to cry!
MONTREAT, N.C. - It is a struggle worthy of the Old Testament, pitting brother against brother, son against mother, and leaving the famous father, the Rev. Billy Graham, trapped in the middle. The family is being split over whether the revered evangelist and his wife are to be buried at the new "library" or at a location in Ruth's beloved mountains of North Carolina. Ruth Graham Bell appears to be opposed quite vehemently to the library proposal. Son, Franklin Graham, who runs the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, is pushing hard for the library.
Retired and almost blind at 88, the evangelist is sitting in his modest log home on a North Carolina mountaintop and listening to a family friend describe where Franklin Graham, heir to his father's worldwide ministry, wants to bury his parents.
How very, very sad.
