Lazy Quotation Day
So, every couple of weeks it feels good to let the quotes do the work. It's that day again as I share some of what I have found interesting.

As we come to the end of another month, the aging of life seems like a good theme. I'm not sure I agree with Mr. Feather in the following quote. Or maybe when one passes middle-age we don't have to be a good example anymore?

William Feather
"Setting a good example for children takes all the fun out of middle age."
If Feather is correct, perhaps Swift is wrong. Or vice versa. Or perhaps both are true. Ah, the (il)logic of age.
Jonathan Swift
"No wise man ever wished to be younger."
Yes, but if Swift is right, then Trotsky is wrong. Which wouldn't be the first time.
Leon Trotsky
"Old age is the most unexpected of all the things that happen to a man."
Finally, maybe George Burns has it right, as comedians usually do. It may be just another way of saying that the "Good, Old Days" were neither.
George Burns
"I look to the future because that's where I'm going to spend the rest of my life."
--All quote originally came to me from Quotes of the Day.
