He's Almost Made It
It was written when he was a teenager, perhaps satirically looking ahead to an impossibly old age at a time when the average age was about 69

When I get older losing my hair many years from now
He recorded it when he was in his mid-20's as an almost retro sound on that incredible Sgt. Peppers' album
Will you still be sending me a valentine, Birthday greetings, bottle of wine?
But life has a way of moving on and cathcing up and if you live long enough you may even meet yourself coming back
If I'd been out til quarter to three would you lock the door?
It happens tomorrow to Sir Paul McCartney
Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm sixty-four?
Happy Birthday on Sunday, June 18, 2006... now you're 64.

Note: If you have any doubts about how old the Baby Boomers are, Sir Paul and a Beatle's quiz was the cover story in the AARP magazine.
