A Republican Sex Scandal?
As I sort of remember scandals past, it seems that most of the time the Republican scandals usually involved money, etc. while it was not unusual for Democrat scandals to have a sex angle (think Gary Hart or Bill Clinton). Well, it appears that there is an actual sex scandal brewing in DC with the Republicans.

It is connected with the Duke Cunningham scandal that has already forced him from office. Now there's more. Here's some of what was reported on The Daily Kos from the San Diego Tribune:

A limousine would pick up Cunningham and a prostitute and take them to the ADCS hospitality suite, Wade reportedly told investigators. Federal agents are investigating whether other legislators had similar arrangements with Wilkes or Wade, a business associate of Wilkes who ran his own defense contracting company, MZM Inc.

There may be as many as six other congressmen involved and perhaps the CIA director.

Hmmm. I have refrained from pointing out in my headline how this may reflect on Republican "family values" (but not here.) Actually, it's refreshing to know that Republicans are no less prone to sins of the flesh than Democrats, There may be hope for them after all.
