The End of the Season
Seattle 17
Green Bay 23

An end to a long, disappointing season in Lambeau Field. Only 4 wins. (3 at home). That's 12 losses. (5 at home). The worst season since 1991.

And then there's #4. Brett Favre. 221 consecutive starts. 139 career wins as a starting QB. 396 career TD passes. Mr. Class. Nothing short of a football and Green Bay legend. Nothing will ever take away the joy of watching him enjoy playing. There's his trademark jump and hand pump when it goes right. There's that Monday night game right after the sudden death of his father as he played with every ounce of skill he ever had.

As he left the game today everyone knew that at age 36 this could have been his last game. He smiled and waved. The crowd responded.

Green Bay is Titletown. It is a very small market team owned by the community. And the community is owned by the Packers.

Brett Favre.

As one of the signs in the stands said today:
14 years of Brett Favre: Priceless!
