A Second Reformation
In a remarkable interview Pastor Rick (Purpose-Driven Life) Warren has some wonderful and remarkable things to say. Here's the opener:
I’m looking for a second reformation. The first reformation of the church 500 years ago was about beliefs. This one is going to be about behavior. The first one was about creeds. This one is going to be about deeds. It is not going to be about what does the church believe, but about what is the church doing.He goes on from there to talk about how God's "reforming" began in his own life. Warren has always appeared to be a down-to-earth person who had one thing and one thing only on his mind- to serve God with purpose.
