Who Says You Can't Change the World?
In Memory: Rosa ParksShe was just another woman on just another bus in just another segregated southern city on that day in December, 1955. But then Rosa didn't do what had happened countless times before.
She didn't give up her seat to a white man.
She broke the law. She was arrested. A 381-day boycott of the bus system began, led by a young Baptist preacher named King.
The rest, as they say, is history.
Rosa Parks, one of my heroes, died Monday of natural causes at age 92.
God- grant me the courage to change the things I can!
Thank you for Rosa's witness!
