The Magic Fall Continues

Yes, just a week ago I was whining about a major snow shower happening over my head. Then yes, it warmed up again and Indian Summer crashed in upon us. Today was a wonderful 70 degrees!

I didn't get out and do a major cycle ride, I was being lazy watching the Packers lose (sad) but I did get out for a short 5-mile ride. It was wonderful.


All I did was actually ride around the lake(s) that are in the process of being "built" near my apartment. There is a new trail around them which offered some opportunities to take pictures as well as ride.

The Canada Geese were in abundance, as they always are this time of year here in Rochester, MN. But as often is the case, it was the sun and the sunset that caught my greatest attention. It isn't often I get a chance to take a fall sunset picture without wearing a heavy jacket.

I don't know how many more weekend days will be like this. But I am grateful for each one.
