Customer Service IV

This one from (The Customer is) Not Always Right) makes you wonder if people think others are really as stupid (or gullible) as they are.

(A customer comes in wanting to copy a full musical score, which is against copyright laws.)

Me: “I’m sorry, I can’t copy that for you.”

Customer: “Why not?”

Me: “It’s against copyright laws.”

Customer: “What?! I wrote this!”

Me: “You’re… Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov?”

Customer: “Yes. Yes, that’s me!”
